ICoT History
The Institute of Construction Technology (ICoT) is a training institution under the Ministry of works and transport (Works sector). ICoT has been granted full Registration status by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) on February 2021 and granted registration Number REG/SAT/035.
ICoT was established after merging two training institutes; (The Mororgoro Works Training Institute and Appropriate Technology Training Institute – Mbeya) which were operating under the Ministry of Works and Transport. The purpose of the institute is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of training programs of the former institute
